Dabang Delhi K.C. put in a good fight but ended up on the losing side against Puneri Paltan in Patna. Captain, Joginder Narwal at the defence and young Naveen Kumar were the star performers for the Eagles.

It was a slow start for Dabang Delhi in the first half. After 4 minutes into the game the Eagles were trailing 0-4, with top raiders in Chandran Ranjit and Naveen Kumar out with unsuccessful raids. As the game went on, the Eagles fought back. Chandran Ranjit pulled an impressive Super Raid to level the score 5-all in the 6th minute of the first half. The team kept the momentum and at one point were leading 13-9 in the first half.

The first half took a contrasting turn as the Eagles then got all-out and were trailing by 7 points at the close of the first 20 mins.

The Eagles fought hard, and managed to reduce the gap to four points (21-25) halfway into the second half. Substitutions were made with Rajesh Narwal in for Shabeer Bappu and Akshay Jadhav replaced Girish Maruti Ernack. But a dry spell for the Dabang Delhi raiders and that kept us chasing Puneri Paltan's lead for a major part of the second half.

Naveen Kumar was the Top Raider from both teams and went on to win the Perfect Raider of the match. Captain Joginder Narwal was brilliant with four tackle points to his name.

The team will now travel to Greater Noida, UP and play Gujarat Fortunegiants on Sunday October 4th. The Eagles have played just six games so far and will need to up their game in the raiding department.
