Dabang Delhi continue their exceptional run of form as they defeated Bengaluru Bulls 32-31 at the Thyagaraj Sports Complex, Delhi. This is their fourth win in five home leg matches and third in a row. The win also puts the home side in a strong position for the playoff berth.

It was a slow start to the opening half, but our Dabangs were in no mood to play defensive. Meraj started the proceedings and got the first raid point. Chandran Ranjit and Naveen Kumar followed him and didn't go empty handed as both raiders managed to score a point each inside the first three minutes of the game.

While our raiders kept the momentum going, our defenders also rose to the occassion as they inflicted the first all out of the match in the seventh minute of the first half as the score was 10-3. Bengaluru tried to make a comeback with eight minutes left in the first half as the points gap reduced to 11-7. Anil Kumar was the first change of the night, who came in for Rajesh Narwal. He didn't take long to create an impact and managed to tackle Rohit Kumar in his only tackle attempt of the match.

The Eagles kept their nose ahead at the end of first half with the score of 14-10.

The Eagles were left with four men at the start of the second half. Pawan Sehrawat’s successful raid left our defence only with Chandran Ranjit, Joginder Narwal and Ravinder Pahal. We were facing an all out situation, but a super tackle opportunity was there. With arguably two of the best defender in the league, our Super Tackle came from Chandran Ranjit, who inflicted a double thigh hold on Pawan Sehrawat and our other two defenders followed up to complete the job.

With 13 minutes left in the game, the bulls were down with three men and Meraj once again was sent for the raid. The Iranian came back with a Super Raid and thus we inflicted another all out on the visitors and stretched the lead to a comfortable 26-14.

Just like the previous game, it was now on us to slow the proceedings and the Eagles did just that. While the effort was strong from the Bengaluru at the dying moments of the game, it was always too late for them as they lost the match with one point.

The win kept Dabang Delhi in third position with a solid eight point difference above fourth place Puneri Paltan. Tomorrow, Thursday December 6th, 2018, our Dabangs will play their last home leg match against out of touch Ajay Thakur's Tamil Thalaivas. Joginder Narwal and his men are confident and will look to give our Dabang fans another reason to celebrate and finish their home leg on a high note.
