Eager Eagles ready to face strong Paltan

After a slight stumble in the second match, the Eagles have flown to Nagpur for the second leg of the Vivo ProKabaddi season. Dabangs will face Puneri Paltan and U Mumba on successive days of this leg. With back-to- back games, we can expect a change in the line-up as well, but that decision rests with the coach and team management.

Talking about the last game, Meraj Sheykh had an off day at the office which affected the team. But there were positives as well. Raiders R. Sriram (5 points) and Anand Patil (3 points), who came off the bench, will be the men to watch out for as they impressed one and all. The defence will look to get their act together after faltering a little. The trio of Nilesh Shinde, Bajirao Hodage and Sunil would know how to get back things in line. Viraj Landge scored three defence points in two games and would look to continue his good run. Iranian Abolfazel, who started in game two, would look to make the most of his opportunity and make the starting position his own.

Opponents of the day, Puneri Paltan, started their campaign with a win over U Mumba and would be high on confidence. With players like Sandeep Narwal, Deepak Hooda and Dharmaraj Cheralathan in the team, the Pune team looks strong on paper. With the Eagles looking hungry for a win, this match promises to be an exciting one!
