We have concluded our home leg, though the results didn't turn out in our favour but Dabang fans kept faith in us till the last game. Their support was just phenomenal as they stuck with us like glue. The match against Telugu Titans started on a shaky note as the visitors inflicted an early all-out on us. Though we tried our best to level things up but the Titans headed into the half-time with an eight point lead. Till the halfway stage the scoreboard raid 12-20.
Post break, Abolfazl (7 points) kept the battle alive as he overall took 5 touch points and 2 bonuses, which brought us back into the contest. Rohit Baliyan, (4 points) the bonus king plucked 3 three bonuses for us. The defenders once again displayed their class on the mat as Swapnil Shinde (4 points), Satpal (4 points) and Vishal (2 points) took the opponent raiders for a spin. But the Titans countered us easily as they implemented two more all-outs on us post interval, which led us on the back foot and unfortunately we lost the match by 22-44.
Talking about milestones, we completed our 300 Do-or-die-raid points in PKL, while Abolfazl bagged his 100th PKL career point.
Positives from the home leg: Rohit Baliyan groomed himself into an experienced player as he stood up for us on many occasions by bailing us out of trouble. Satpal Narwal and Vishal made the most out their chances by filling in for some big players. Overall these players took the breakfree route as they made the opponent team dance on their tunes.
We are now flying to the Southern India, Chennai.. We take on Gujarat Fortunegiants there.
