The Kolkata leg was a great success for us as we played to our strength. Now we are setting our eyes on Haryana Steelers, whom we are playing at Motilal Nehru School of Sports, Sonepat.
We are unbeaten since our last three games, so we will look to keep this momentum going by bringing yet another positive result to our name. The boys are responding well to the team plans and now we are a well settled unit, who have a common goal. The players and the supporting staff are showing a good partnership on and off the field. The team is in a happy space, where each and everyone is contributing their share in shaping up the side well. Players like, Anand Patil, Rohit Baliyan and Sunil Kumar are in scintillating form. These players are now reducing burden from Meraj and Abolfazl's shoulders. Coach Dr. Ramesh Bhendigiri is keeping a close watch on the youngsters Tapas Pal and Shubham Palkar. We are doing our homework right by training at the utmost level.
Talking about Haryana Steelers, they are at present sitting on the second spot of the Zone A points table. Their captain, Surender Nada is leading them from the front. In the absence of Vikas Khandola, experienced players like, Prashant Rai, Wazir Singh and Surjeet Singh are doing well for them. The previous time when we collided with the Steelers, the result didn't go in our favour as the match ended in a nail biting tie 27-25. But looking at our current form, we can give them a run for their money. The Eagles are born to conquer and we will surely justify this by giving it back to them on the mat.
