One thing that is constant at the Thyagaraj stadium is the fan support. Dabang fans turned up in heeps with the team flags as the atmosphere in the stands was electrifying. Yesterday's outing on the mat wasn't good for us as the Yoddhas were on a roll. They kept on picking up points with ease, which piled pressure on us. Right before the half-time, the visitors inflicted the first all-out on us. They took a healthy lead of 10 points before marching into the break. We were trailing 10-20 till the halfway mark.

Post break in the quest of making a comeback we fought hard but it wasn't our day on the mat. Though Rohit Baliyan (7 points) yet again proved to be a reliable source for us, although he lacked support from the other players. Satpal Narwal (5 points) has been the pillar of our defence as he made the raiders dance on his tunes. Iranian duo, Abolfazl and Meraj struggled to find their midas touch last night. Overall, our counterpart’s dictated the match as they got us all-out twice post interval and eventually they went on to win the match convincingly by 16-45.

Talking about milestones, Meraj Sheykh achieved yet another landmark as he completed 150 Successful Raids in PKL. On the other hand, Rohit Baliyan picked up his 50th Total point of the season.

We are approaching our last home leg game as we take on Telugu Titans today. The Titans are a tough side as on their day they can beat any side hands down. Their skipper, Rahul Chaudhari adds the flavour of experience in their squad. Mohsen Maghsoudlou, Rohit Rana, Nilesh Salunke and Vishal Bhardwaj are other big names, who add firepower for the Titans. We will look to end our home leg on a high note as a win today will give the fans a reason to celebrate and it will be the best way thank them for their love and support.
